The whole family will get a thrill from the view atop la Grande Roue, Paris’ traveling Ferris wheel that returns home to le Jardin de Tuilerieseach winter to delight residents and touristsalike. Towering over 197 ft. tall, this Ferris wheel was built for the millennial celebration and was supposed to remain only one year.
Instead, its owner dismantled the wheel in 2002 and it then toured the EU and Asia. Having returned to Paris in 2007, la Grande Roue is open for rides each winter to offer a unique perspective on the magical city of Paris.
