Thank you Globe Bleu! We are back safe and sound from an incredible summer escape to Paris and the Amalfi Coast, though I was worried that I would never get my husband out of Italy. We spent our first and last day in Paris. Minutes after unloading our bags, we hit the road, à pied, down the Champs Elysées to see, once again, the breathtaking architecture and monuments. Somehow, each time is like the first time. Paris is so beautiful! Then off to Sorrento and, just as in Paris, minutes after unloading our bags in the hotel, we hit the road down to the village. We never stopped. Jet lag or no jet lag, not even sure I felt it, there was so much to see, eat and drink, that we just kept going! I don’t want to bore you with details (all wonderful to us) on our smashing journey through the Campania region with a few boat stops along the Amalfi Coast. If there were hills or steps to climb, we climbed to the top of every town we visited, and found the best views and no tourists at the top! My mountain goat of a husband just would not stop climbing!
